God, the Final Authority

We all have authorities over us.  Whether parents, our boss, local officials, or the government at large – there is always someone over us.  Yet how often we lose sight of the ultimate and final authority – God.  God is in control, more so than any human on earth because He knows the past, present, and future perfectly and is guiding the paths of all authority.  So why is it so hard for us to trust God?  Why do we hesitate to cast our cares and burdens upon Him?  God is the final authority, we have access to His very throne room, let us therefore take all our needs and cares to Him!
